Account Executive - Public Relations / Marketing

We are a fast-paced PR, marketing and brand communication agency specializing in lifestyle accounts seeking a self-motivated, intelligent, responsible, organized, quick-thinking new Associate located in Boca Raton, Florida.

We are searching for a full-time Account Executive - PR for immediate hire and long-term employment.

Qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • Creating and executing complex public relations strategies, campaigns and initiatives for a variety of clients with the aim of increasing brand awareness and consistency
  • Creating and maintaining a brand  identity and voice for clients and assuring all initiatives are consistent with it
  • Overseeing execution of social media strategy
  • Identifying and aggressively pitching key media outlets
  • Managing and reporting press placements
  • Identifying media trends, news cycles and spin opportunities
  • Developing unique and news-worthy story angles
  • Creation of clear and compelling press kits, press releases, media alerts and other promotional materials
  • Creating and managing client budgets
  • Liaising between the agency and client
  • Overseeing creation of marketing collateral to assure consistency in brand messaging
  • Establish deep relationships with national brands and media/advertising agencies
  • Obtains client approvals in advance of initiating projects, including identification of target dates and budgets available.
  • Maintains a thorough, sensitive and accurate liaison with the client, so that s/he is able to keep the agency informed of client’s problems and objectives.
  • Develops good relationships with client opposites and internally with agency associates.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of industry experience - agency experience preferred
  • Established relations with local and national business and trade media contacts
  • Proven success in both traditional and interactive PR channels
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to manage and execute campaigns
  • Proficiency in basic PR applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Effective organization skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time and Project Management skills

We are seeking:

A highly collaborative and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the company's workflow and manage Agency production processes. This position is a great fit for a project manager who has incredible attention to detail, superior organization skills and a diplomatic touch.

In this job, you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day activity of projects, ensuring the work is successfully completed within time parameters while meeting quality of work expectations
  • Understand project objective and strategy; leads the team in identifying, communicating and developing solutions for any potential challenges
  • Accurately forecast timing and resources across a range of projects
  • Create standard operating procedures
  • Ensure initial job requests have all necessary information and assets for creative team to execute the request thoroughly
  • Ensure all work has been appropriately authorized before assigning resources
  • Check all materials for accuracy and completeness
  • Develop and maintain timelines in work flow tracking software
  • Oversee pickups and deliveries of vendor printed assets

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field is preferred.
  • Requires a demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects independently on assigned accounts.
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience within a Creative/Marketing team, in an in-house or agency environment.
  • A work history in a direct sales or network marketing company experience a plus
  • Must have project management experience or prior traffic management experience.
  • Knows project management principles, processes and software, including all of MSOffice and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Respects and understands the strategic, creative and technology disciplines.
  • Familiarity with workflow of print, video and digital marketing.
